Jay isn't thin. Instead, we prefer to say "he conserves gravity." He's the guy who keeps you going in the morning with our Commercial Free Jump Start and shares a meal and memories with you during our Class Reunion Lunch at noon.
Jay enjoys golf, traveling and pottery (yes, pottery...  he's in his third session.)
He is a board member & interim board president at the Music Resource Center - Cincinnati and a board member at the Brighton Center in Newport.

The best song ever written is: It's a tie for me... ever since I can remember, I have always thought Del Shannon's "Runaway" was the coolest song. Maybe it's the screaming chorus or guitar strumming. It just calls to me. Also, Tag Team's "Whoomp! There It Is" changed my life.

What's the funniest car you've owned? Ford Probe. Worst name for a vehicle... ever.

Dogs or Cats? That's an easy one... dogs. Cats are always plotting against you and can jump insanely high. Too creepy.

What's your favorite place in the Tri-state? The brief moment you get heading northbound on 75 at the Cut in the Hill at sunset when the city is beginning to light up, the sky is a beautiful orange glow and some guy is about to rear end you because you're doing 35 miles per hour staring at the city.

The best concert you've ever been to was? Again … a tie. Huey Lewis & The News (because it was my first) and Earth Wind & Fire (summer of '09 at Riverbend … good times!)

If they were making a Rewind 94.9 movie … who would play you? Jon Stewart

What is your least favorite word? Impossible

Coney or 3-Way? Both!

Who are your favorite bands of all time? Chicago, Stray Cats (and Brian Setzer Orchestra), John Mayer, Earth Wind & Fire and KC and The Sunshine Band to name a few.

If you weren't a DJ, what would you be doing? I'd give house flipping a try. I watch the people on those Flip This House type shows and think "I could do that!"

Any secret talents or skills? The whole pottery thing you read about up there … yep. It's been fun to learn a new skill … but I think my family and friends have more cups, bowls, pencil holders and vases than they know what to do with!

Favorite place to take a vacation? New York City. Love it.

And finally, from James Lipton … What would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Come on in.
